Ryan's distinct ear for music recording and over 20 years of experience has been a launching pad for many bands and recording artists. After extensive work as a staff engineer/manager for studios, such as The Lodge Recording Studios and Echo Park Studios, he decided to start his own business venture. In June of 1999, Azmyth Recording was born. This gave Adkins the opportunity to bring his healthy client list to a facility that offers professional high quality sound at a more affordable rate. His work speaks for itself. He has worked with many national acts such as, Eminem & D-12, Haste the Day, Young Buck, Emery, Snoop Dogg and so many more .
Travis "Kold Kut" Moore - Instructor, Recording & Mix Engineer, Producer, Musician, and Placement Writer
After graduating from Full Sail University, Travis Moore, also known as “Kold Kut” chose to start his music career in Detroit, Michigan. Travis was hired as a freelance engineer at Grand Recording Studios and worked for a year producing tracks for local hip-hop groups in the Detroit area. From there he spent time as an engineer at the Lodge Recording Studios before becoming the “in-house” hip-hop producer. From that point on he gained respect and really began to build his clientele as well as his reputation for outstanding production quality. In April of 2007, Travis met Ryan Adkins and the Azmyth team. Travis has now worked with hundreds of local, regional and national acts that include Mike Posner, Kirko Bangz, Big SMO, Bizzy Bone, Pretty Ricky, Snoop Dogg, to name a few. Travis made a name for himself as a writer of music for Television and Film. He has written for many major network shows that include NBC’s The Voice, Pawn Stars, MTV's Catfish, American Restoration and many others.
Corey Miller - Instructor, Recording, Mix, and Mastering Engineer, Musician, Placement writer, & Producer
Corey is a graduate of The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH. He has over 19 years of experience working with a wide variety of styles including rock, pop, hip hop, rap, gospel, and blues. In 2013, Corey received his platinum record for his engineering on B.O.B.'s single, "So Good" from the Strange Clouds album. He also teaches a music technology course for IUPUI focusing on recording techniques. Corey is part of a production team known as 'The Mix Up' who work with local and regional artists in the pop/rock and hip hop genre. Their music has been featured on NBC's 'The Voice', MTV's The Real World and Catfish, along with being placed with many other major television networks. His favorite compressor is an LA-2A, favorite color is green, and he loves long walks on the beach.
